Our journey to the much awaited tour-de-BIHAR(my first :P)...Starting with the train journey...It was a usual journey where i joined the group coming from mumbai at Khandwa junction(train no 2336 LTT-Bhagalpur Express)...We crossed M.P and were about to leave Mughal sarai station, the last stop in Uttar Pradesh...So now we entered the state in question(also better known as LALU's PLACE)...Call me sceptical or watever but the atmosphere changed all of a sudden, may be due to the frends continuously talking about it or no matter wat, but it happened...It was usual as we crossed Buxar(Yes its the same place where the great battle of buxar was fought) but then we reached AARA n things took a complete 180 degree turn(wish i cud tell 1800 degrees if we were to account the magnitude of change)...Irrespective of the fact that we were travelling in AC coaches, we were greeted by 75 odd passengers at the station n they claimed full ownership of the seats that we were already sitting... I objected with the Aunty who came to sit in my berth to which she bluntly replied "patna tak hi to jaana hai, adjust kar lo (as if i was going to newyork wid tat train:P)"...I called up my friend(the dulha(groom)) to inform tat we have reached AARA n he said technically it takes 45mins-1 hr to reach from AARA to PATNA but lets c wen u guys reach...and then we reached PATNA...after full 5 and a half hrs:).. nothing much happend in between except for the fact that train was stopped 15-20 times in between the stations...just as we came out of the Patna station one of my friend realized tat he is missing his wallet...we went back again to search the wallet in the train bt cudnt find it....Still he is clueless about wat exactly happend...the next 20 hrs were good as we slept n chatted wid each other (some of us were meeting after 1 yr)...then came the time of baarat...as we joined the baarat I was astonished or rather shocked to c a van with its luggage compartment open and was converted to a movable BAR, with bottles of Wines and Whiskey being distributed as we distribute water at the summer season at stations :P...We danced, laughed and had fun for another 1 hr and then Baarat reached the marriage place, then the next 1 hr were followed by eating and bird watching(Just WOW :), since this is a social networking site so wont go into much detail :P)...Then we talked with the new couple and had a group photograph at stage...Just when everything seem to be real nice, we heard some abusing and brawling and within no time it was a total chaos with the level of gaali's worsening every other minutes, then some chairs were raised but luckily it did'nt hit anyone...then the groom was told by his family members to go to the 'Janmasa'(place where the baraat stays)and the entire marriage hall was vacated and when we left at 2A.M. there were discussions going on whethr the marriage will take place or not...then i gt a call from the groom next morning at 9 that the marriage concluded peacefully ...So atleast it was a happy ending as far as the marriage is concerned but don think we were so lucky...On our way back our train was scheduled to arrive at 2:P.M, and it came around 3'o clock so i will call that pretty much on time...While we were waiting i saw a general or local train with as much as 400 passengers in one coach with some of them (including ladies) sitting even in toilets...And then our train came, though we were leaving Patna, our bad luck refused to leave us and we learned that CANARA BANK's exam was there at patna that morning and a large crowd of youngsters aged 19-22 in the platform verified the fact...As soon as the train came, we rushed to our coach and they rushed too:P..Finally we enterd the coach and found ourselves in the company of 250 extra passengers in the form of young students... anyhow we managed to go to our seats and one of my friend found his side lower seat occupied by 3-4 young gals... when he said "excuse me, this is my seat" to them, they looked at each other n replied quickly "cant u stand for 1 hr or so"...my frn was frozen:P...this time journey from Patna to Aara took only 2:30 hrs n then they left the train and tats when we found our seats. Well rest of the journey was pretty much normal but none of us complained:P...I feel as if i have enough screenplay to make "My experience wid truths":P...Any1 interestd??
Note : As told by Ankur Agrawal
Based on a real life incident of Abhinav.....
A guy called abhi decided to go 4 a movie called om shanti om.He persuaded his friends to come along with him. Most of them got readied straightway and were pretty excited bout the movie as it was only the second movie(bollywood) tat was releasing there. Now abhi was accompanied by his close friends namely Cp@pandu , Nitesh@maggi ,Grover@polu ,Ruman@baba ,Ambuj@bambuj and Ankur@chinu.Since the theatre was quite a few km's away they all boarded a bus and settled onto the last row in the bus.Abhi was seated in the middle of tat row. After few stops a girl in her early 20's accompanied by her parents got into the bus. This girl was standing just infront of abhi blocking his front view.By the time a song called ''partha mudhal'' featuring kamaal hassan and kamolini mukherjee was being played in the bus.Abhi loved tat song but was not able to view the video on the bus tv coz of the girl standing in front of him so he very politely asked maggi who was seated next to him to exchange seats.Maggi jokingly refused as he liked making him angry.Even after few request from abhi maggi refused. Then finally abhi a bit desperate for the song got up and tats wen the driver applied the brakes.Since abhi had no protection infront of him he fell on tat girl as if giving her a hug and then he quickly came back to his seat. All of this happened so quickly tat he also did not said a sorry to her.People who saw it real time must have surely felt tat it was intentional from abhi but beleive me i know him pretty well it was not.It was just an accident.More so his kameeney friends who were seated next to him started passing remarks like ''very bad abhinav'',''kaisa feel hua'',''kuch feel kiya ki nahi''etc etc(all this passing comment and remarks wer goin on a high decibel and with added laughter much to the irritation of tat sweet gal parents as abhi thought). It made abhi more tense since tat girl was with her parents. And the place were we studied was such tat even a minor thing against thr culture would attract a lot of people and this was a sin.The more these people made fun of tat accidental fall infront of her parents the more his heart beat increased. But luckily nothing(not even a stare or scolding) happened from thr side and after few stops they all got down.Abhi finally had a sigh of relief. This is one moment tat he ll remember forever. In short ''Abhi ki fati padhi thi''.....
So it seems the honeymoon of Indian students studying in Australian universities is getting over.with so many racist attacks in just a month i suppose the parents will think over and again before sending thr wards to oz.Racism is banned all over the world but it seems the australian ppl do not know this.Hopefully the indian government intervenes in the matter and do something for the safety of the large indian contingent thr.
The recent incidents in oz are just few of the many such racist incidents happening al over the world.Indians a species you can find out even in the remotest area of the world(don be surprised if u r on an adventure trip to amazon forest and find out few indians permanentlt settled thr).Back to serious stuff. So some of the incidents gets notices and others not and thnx to the news channel we come to know of it.So i suppose the government rather than being diplomatic should take immediate measures to ensure the safety of NRI'S all over the world.
But rather making hue n cry over al these don we think even in our india racism persist and tat too against our own country people.Take the example of bihar.People from bihar are almost everywhere in india.Infact its the same as indians are all over the world. Most of them have been subjected to some sort of derogatory comment here or thr.Few months back we saw how raj thakrey's people wer beating innocent people from north india. Now is tat not racist???This not only is the case with with bihar and UP people its the same for people coming from south. They are often referred to as madrasi's.Only a handful of people can tell all the four languages that are spoken in south india. Also people coming from the north east are referred to as chinki's.Now is tat not racistor derogatory??????
I think this prob of racism will persist in future also.Take a example:PG(paying guest)is a very common mode of renting house. No owner will want to modify the place for the sake of the renter.I suppose its the same problem everywhere.People do not want to lose thr mother culture.Recently during the t20 world cup the home team(england) were welcomed on the ground with lots of boo's from the large volume of indian fans. This surely pep up the english team as was later said by colingwood. So this surely must have put a bad taste among the englishmen against indian people and perhaps would come out in the form of some derogatory or racist remarks.
People all over the world of different race, color, religion don want thr mother culture to be lost so when they see any threat or competition from other culture they are bound to react in some way and to me tats eventually RACISM.
May 29 men in blue were to leave for England for the t20 world cup. Dhoni was addressing the press conference and everything seems fine. They were the defending champions and favorites for another title.May 15 India lost to England by a whisker and with it out of the championship. In fact they never looked like a team who are being tagged as the main contenders. Most of the team members looked either jaded or fatigued. If one goes through the batting order of this team its difficult to believe tat this team is out of the race.Everyone is a match winner. But somehow the team never got going.Barring Yuvi none of the players played even half to their potential. The most curious case i feel is of rohit sharma.Somehow he never manages to play for his country.Give him some domestic matches or the IPL he ll score heavily bt wen it comes to INDIA simply ghanta he ll score.May be its time he's given more time to be cooked in the domestic circuits. Now tat team INDIA hav lost, its the first major setback for Dhoni as captain.Already the guns are out against his tactics and his effigies are being burnt. But i don think this is the ryt way to go.At the end of it we all should remember tat its just a game and losing is a part of it.Okay there were a few tactical errors and also the gamble he took did not paid of.But he has been using these all tactics n taking similar gambles from the time he became captain n has been very successful since. One thing tat we should not forget that dhoni has literally been on the run for almost a year and a half now.He s the captain of team INDIA,captains team Chennai in the IPL and also u can see him in almost every second AD on the television.Sooner or later it was going to take its toll n tat wats happned. Our super cool captain even lost his cool in one of the press conference.Captaining INDIA is not a mean job, a place wer almost evryone feels himself to be a cricket xpert. So i would just lik to tell people let us tak this loss in our stride and hope the team will bounce back stronger in future competitions.Lets support Dhoni in this hour of crisis.
Firstly my congratulation to Deccan chargers for the emphatic victory.they truly can be called dark horse.surprisingly its becoming a phenomenon now in IPL that the team who are having the slighest chance of going all the way have been winning.last year it was Rajasthan royals this year deccan chargers.guess who ll be the most happiest ppl other than deccan chargers .ya u got it ryt kkr ppl coz it ll be thr turn nxt year to be crowned since they finished last ths time around;).the teams who went with lots of hype n hoopla were the one biting the dust.everyone knows srk and kkr story n the fake ipl blog did not help the matters as well.even the hugs of priety were not able to charge the kings punjab players.may be next year she needs to do something differnt to energise these people.n last bt not the least the rajashthan royals.they seemed to depend too heavily on warne nd yusuf and it bring about there downfall.nd the attachment of shilpa did not help the matters as well.Shilpa beauty wise is just superb but i am not a very big fan of hers Big Brothers theory.she keeps on telling in the media that she was the dark horse wen she entered the film fraternity n now she has made it big on the film circle.she keeps on boasting that it was bcoz of her 'So called talent' that she won the reality show.beleive me even if rakhi sawant or the b-grade actress shakila would have been there in that reality show even they would have come out with flying colors.so the underlining thing is that it was not the individual but the support of tens of thousands of indians all over the world.she got the votes coz she was an INDIAN.i have hardly seen her acknowledging this fact.wat she did there in big brother was even more pathetic.yes we come from the land of mahatma gandhi n he only told us to raise our voice against any discrimination bt instead of tat shilpa jee just kept on listening all the derogatory comment from gade goody.if it wud not have been for those millions of patriotic NRI's one more indian would have been a victim of discrimination.its for this fact that i think shilpa should have given INDIA the deserving value....
