So it seems the honeymoon of Indian students studying in Australian universities is getting over.with so many racist attacks in just a month i suppose the parents will think over and again before sending thr wards to oz.Racism is banned all over the world but it seems the australian ppl do not know this.Hopefully the indian government intervenes in the matter and do something for the safety of the large indian contingent thr.
The recent incidents in oz are just few of the many such racist incidents happening al over the world.Indians a species you can find out even in the remotest area of the world(don be surprised if u r on an adventure trip to amazon forest and find out few indians permanentlt settled thr).Back to serious stuff. So some of the incidents gets notices and others not and thnx to the news channel we come to know of it.So i suppose the government rather than being diplomatic should take immediate measures to ensure the safety of NRI'S all over the world.
But rather making hue n cry over al these don we think even in our india racism persist and tat too against our own country people.Take the example of bihar.People from bihar are almost everywhere in india.Infact its the same as indians are all over the world. Most of them have been subjected to some sort of derogatory comment here or thr.Few months back we saw how raj thakrey's people wer beating innocent people from north india. Now is tat not racist???This not only is the case with with bihar and UP people its the same for people coming from south. They are often referred to as madrasi's.Only a handful of people can tell all the four languages that are spoken in south india. Also people coming from the north east are referred to as chinki's.Now is tat not racistor derogatory??????
I think this prob of racism will persist in future also.Take a example:PG(paying guest)is a very common mode of renting house. No owner will want to modify the place for the sake of the renter.I suppose its the same problem everywhere.People do not want to lose thr mother culture.Recently during the t20 world cup the home team(england) were welcomed on the ground with lots of boo's from the large volume of indian fans. This surely pep up the english team as was later said by colingwood. So this surely must have put a bad taste among the englishmen against indian people and perhaps would come out in the form of some derogatory or racist remarks.
People all over the world of different race, color, religion don want thr mother culture to be lost so when they see any threat or competition from other culture they are bound to react in some way and to me tats eventually RACISM.
